Turquoise

TURQUOISE the stone known as a “Master Healer.” It is a purification stone, though grounded and protected it provides higher energy levels for healing and cleansing. It unites the earth and the sky, bringing together the male and female energies, enhancing the physical and the psychic immune systems, stimulating romantic love.

Like most blue gemstones, turquoise activates the throat chakra, helping us speak our wisdom and truth. The gift of turquoise is in bringing an awareness that every part of us is an element of our Divine self, to be understood and embraced. The heart of compassion is knowing that darkness and pain is a universal human experience, and only by integrating these aspects of existence can we become whole. Turquoise encourages to accept ourselves, warts and all. The Turquoise represents happiness, peace and patience. Many believe that wearing a Turquoise will aid in healing as well as bring understanding, wisdom and kindness.

Many Native American cultures believe that Turquoise helps to connect the mind to the infinite possibilities of the Universe and is considered very sacred in Chinese cultures as well. It is a throat Chakra stone, as it helps to foster honest and open communication from the heart. It works to protect and align the chakras, strengthening the overall body in the process. Believed to attract money, success and love, turquoise is a stone of friendship in many cultures. Native Americans associated the colors of turquoise with the blue sky and the green earth. It is still seen by many today as being symbolic of our roots in nature.
